Haxton Folds the River for a Tiny Bit More

Niveau 5 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Heads-up in a pot between Justin Bonomo (middle position) and Isaac Haxton (button) the flop came {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. Bonomo checked, and then called the 5,500-bet Haxton put forward. Both checked the {3-Spades} on the turn before the {Q-Hearts} completed the board.

Bonomo checked again and Haxton bet a hefty 35,000. Bonomo announced all in and Haxton instantly asked for a count. It turned out to be 50,900. Haxton tanked for a bit before he, reluctantly, folded.

"It just hurts to even watch that," Henrik Hecklen said with a smile.

"I'm just gonna tell myself he had top set," Haxton said.

"Top set? You don't put me on quads, so you folded a ten?" Bonomo quipped.

The Rich Get Richer

Niveau 5 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Timothy Adams, who's leading this event, just won another small pot to add to his big stack.

Adams opened the cutoff for 6,000 and Sergi Reixach called from the big blind. Reixach check-called a bet of 7,500 on {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} before both players checked the {5-Hearts}-turn. The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Reixach checked again. Adams bet 12,500 and Reixach tanked for some time before folding.

Mateos Doubles Adams

Niveau 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Timothy Adams opened the cutoff for 5,200 and small blind Adrian Mateos three-bet to 18,500. The big blind folded and Adams four-bet to 40,500. Action was back on Mateos and he moved all in. Adams called without much hesitation.

Timothy Adams: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Adrian Mateos: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, making Mateos the heavy favorite. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn, however, shifted the advantage to Adams. The {8-Hearts} on the river was a blank and Adams doubled his 130,000-stack.

"Bring Back My Chips!"

Niveau 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel
Jean-Noel Thorel

From early position, Jean-Noel Thorel opened for 5,000. Big blind Henrik Hecklen three-bet to 18,000 and Thorel was quick to call.

The flop came {8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Hecklen bet 16,000. Thorel shoved all in for 88,000 and Hecklen called instantly.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Henrik Hecklen: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The {3-Diamonds} on the turn and {6-Clubs} on the river failed to help Hecklen and Thorel fist pumped in celebration with his top-two.

"Bring back my chips!" Thorel said, referring to a hand not too long ago where Hecklen rivered a full house to crack Thorel's aces.

Thorel Loses With Aces

Niveau 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Henrik Hecklen opened the hijack for 4,000 and saw Jean-Noel Thorel three-bet to 12,000 from the button. Both blinds got out the way and Hecklen called.

Hecklen check-called 12,000 on the {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}-flop and {9-Spades}-turn, before leading 37,000 himself on the {10-Hearts}-river. Thorel snap called, but was beat by Hecklen's {10-Spades}{J-Spades}. Thorel showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and parted ways with a decent portion of his chips.
