Isaac Haxton gagne le PokerStars EPT Prague 25,500€ Single-Day High Roller pour 559,200€

Niveau 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Adrian Mateos Diaz & Paul Newey

Julian Stuer Eliminated in 2nd Place (€397,550)

Niveau 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Julian Stuer
Julian Stuer

After a split pot in the first hand in heads up and a successful three-bet shove by Julian Stuer in the second hand, the decision over the title came in hand number three.

Stuer opened to 250,000 and Isaac Haxton moved all in, Stuer quickly called.

Julian Stuer: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Isaac Haxton: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The German and Austrian rail jumped up to see the action, rooting for Stuer. However, a the board of {Q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} left their friend drawing dead on the turn and Stuer was eliminated in second place for a career-best payday of €397,550. Haxton gets to lift the penultimate EPT High Roller trophy and takes home €559,200 for his efforts.

A recap of today's action will be available shortly.

Adrian Mateos Eliminated in 3rd Place (€260,300)

Niveau 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

Adrian Mateos was first to act and shoved all in for 1,910,000.

Instantly, Isaac Haxton in the small blind asked for a count. When the dealer replied how much it was, he thought about it for a bit. Meanwhile, the floor asked the rail to be quiet.

"All in" whispered Haxton all of the sudden. "All in?" asked the dealer, "All in" repeated Haxton himself. Stuer folded right away.

Adrian Mateos: {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Isaac Haxton: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, doing not much of anything for either. The {Q-Spades} on the turn did increase the amount of outs Mateos had, but none of them fell with the {2-Spades} on the river.

Mateos exited in third place for €260,300. Haxton and Stuer are guaranteed €397,550.

Ramin Hajiyev Eliminated in 4th Place (€200,300)

Niveau 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Ramin Hajiyev
Ramin Hajiyev

After battling his way back to more than 1.3 million chips, Julian Stuer raised to 140,000 as first to act. Ramin Hajiyev in the small blind had just about that stack as well and announced all in. Isaac Haxton in the big blind asked for a count and the stack of Hajiyev was deemed to be for 1,340,000. Haxton called and Stuer quickly folded.

Ramin Hajiyev: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Isaac Haxton: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop and the {6-Spades} turn were safe for Hajiyev, but the {K-Spades} on the river gave Haxton kings and fours to send the third-place finisher of this very event in 2015 to the rail in fourth place. Hajiyev takes home €200,300 for his efforts.

Steve O'Dwyer Eliminated in 6th Place (€124,050)

Niveau 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

The action started with a raise to 90,000 by Ramin Hajiyev. Steve O'Dwyer then three-bet to 270,000 from the small blind with another 1,140,000 behind. Hajiyev had him covered and four-bet to 590,000.

O'Dwyer took another minute before moving all in and Hajiyev called to create a pot of almost three million chips.

Steve O'Dwyer: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Ramin Hajiyev: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop of {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} changed nothing yet. Hajiyev kept staring at the board while the {4-Hearts} hit the turn. As soon as he spotted the {A-Clubs} on the river, he jumped up in celebration and so did his rail.

O'Dwyer was eliminated in sixth place for €124,050. The remaining five players went on a short toilet break.

Paul Newey Eliminated in 8th Place (€76,260)

Paul Newey
Paul Newey

Julian Stuer raised to 80,000 from under the gun and the action reached Paul Newey on the button. He glanced over at his opponent and the players behind him, then moved all in. The blinds folded and Stuer asked for a count, then called when the shove was deemed to be for 390,000.

Paul Newey: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Julian Stuer: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The flop of {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} improved Newey, but he was drawing dead on the {9-Clubs} turn. This made the {10-Hearts} river meaningless and Newey headed to the rail in order to collect €76,260 for his eighth place finish.

After finishing runner-up in the €50,000 Super High Roller for €535,250 yesterday, the road now ended in ninth place for Charlie Carrel. The Brit cashed for the eighth tournament in a row, with just one of them not being a final table. Here's what happened.

From first position, Ramin Hajiyev opened for 70,000. Julian Stuer called in the hijack before Charlie Carrel squeezed all in for 205,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Hajiyev asked for a count. He thought about it for a bit before he raised to 340,000. Stuer folded.

Charlie Carrel: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Ramin Hajiyev: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and all Carrel said was "See you guys!"

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 65,000 from the cutoff and Koray Aldemir moved all in from the button. The blinds released their cards and O'Dwyer asked for a count. Aldemir's shove was for 406,000 in total and O'Dwyer called half a minute later.

Koray Aldemir: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The German was ahead preflop, but that suddenly changed on the {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Aldemir was drawing to three outs only, and the {2-Diamonds} river was none of them to reduce the field to the last nine. Aldemir takes home €50,840 for his efforts, while the nine finalists have €57,950 guaranteed for their efforts.

Igor Yaroshevskyy moved all in from the button and Isaac Haxton folded in the small blind. Adrian Mateos glanced over at the tournament info and asked for a count. The all in was for 146,000 and Mateos took one minute before tossing in the chips for the call.

Igor Yaroshevskyy: {A-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Adrian Mateos: {J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} gave both players a gutshot, but Yaroshevskyy was still ahead with ace-high. On the {J-Diamonds} turn, Mateos improved to a pair of jacks and the {J-Clubs} river even made that trips to eliminate Yaroshevskyy as first player in the money.

Oleksii Khoroshenin
Oleksii Khoroshenin

Action folded to EPT Vienna champion Oleksii Khoroshenin in the small blind and he moved all in. Big blind Steve O'Dwyer only needed a short glance at his cards to make the call. The action was freezed but would soon resume as the hand on the other table was done a couple of seconds later.

Oleksii Khoroshenin: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

Floor person Kate Badurek almost had no time to announce the cards as the dealer fired the flop and turn rapidly: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Khoroshenin needed a queen on the river but wouldn't get it. Instead the {A-Hearts} popped up and Khoroshenin made his exit.

The remaining 11 players are in the money and guaranteed €50,840.
