Le Français Corentin Ropert remporte son deuxième tournoi de l'année en live. Le jeune grinder a multiplié les perfs online et il signe son succès référence sur le Single Day High Roller du PokerStars EPT Prague. Le tricolore encaisse 277 560€ et double ses gains en live après une table finale expédiée et dominée.
Corentin Ropert s'était qualifié sur un satellite à 2700€ vendredi soir ! Arrivé en head's up avec une grosse avance sur Tsugunari Toma (100 blindes contre 40, ndlr) le tricolore a fait trips pour terminer le tournoi.
Quatrième du FPS Deauville 2014 pour 60,100€, encore quatrième du Sismix 2018 remporté par Adrian Mateos, Corentin Ropert a livré une performance sans tache. Le runner-up Toma signe lui aussi le plus gros cash de sa carrière sur un field de 34 entrants, le Japonais avait lui déjà cumulé un demi-million de dolalrs de gains en live avant le coup d'envoi de ce tournoi disputé en une journée.

Après le succès de Thomas Boivin sur le premier SIngle Day HR à 25000€ du festival, l tournoi a débuté à midi 30, samedi. Il a fallu 11 heures à Ropert pour s'imposer face à des joueurs comme Boivin ou Steve O’Dwyer.
Jean-Noel Thorel est le premier à avoir re-entry sur ce field de 34 entrants (5 re-entries, ndlr). Les Six joueurs dans l'argent ont collecté un minimum de 57 140€ et Ropert à fait le ménage.
Alors qu'ils ont dominé le tournoi en milieu de game, Dietrich Fast et Charlie Carrel se sont inclinés aux portes de l'argent. Timothy Adams et Michael Soyza ont aussi participé au prizepool.
Carrel a sorti Soyza en 10e position pour provoquer l'ultime réunification. Bien placé, Ropert n'a (presque) pas tremblé.
Après l'élimination de Juan Pardo, Pavel Plesuv et Dietrich Fast ont doublé à plusieurs reprises... et le Français a plongé au classement avant de redresser la situation en quelques coups bien sentis. Chipleader à la pause dîner, Ropert s'est chargé d'éliminer Sergi Reixach à la bulle du tournoi.
Plesuv et Norbert Szecsi ont rapidement rendu les armes une fois l'argent atteint et Fast a pris le contrôle... avant de tenter Ropert. Le Français a call hauteur 
et c'est l'Australien Addamo qui a terminé l'Allemand au pied du podium.
Malgré une moyenne à 40 blindes, l'action a été féroce. Addamo a shove 
en petite blinde et Corentin a trouvé en grosse blinde pour s'offrir un head's up. Plesuv et Addamo ont eux réussi à atteindre les places payées sur les deux HR Single Day du festival.
Avec 100 blindes contre 40 à son adversaire japonais, Corentin Ropert a d'abord perdu du terrain. Toma a ensuite check-raise à tapis en étant drawing dead, sous les vivas des Français présents dans le rail !
