Just a few days ago, it was Thomas Boivin up against Steve O'Dwyer in the heads-up battle for the first €25,000 Single-Day High Roller title of the festival. On that occasion it was Boivin who was victorious. But in their most recent encounter, it was O'Dwyer who came out best.
The board was down , and the pot was around 50,000. Both players checked and saw the river.
Boivin then bet 13,000 from the big blind and O'Dwyer sat patiently as his shot clock timed down to just one second remaining before he moved his 55,000 stack into the middle.
Boivin contemplated his next move for close to 15 seconds but ultimately gave up and allowed O'Dywer the win this time around.

We caught the action with the full board already out in a hand between Christopher Soyza (hijack) and Juan Pardo (button). On , Soyza was all in for about 53,000. Pardo thought about it for a bit and called after having used two time bank cards.
Soyza showed and started to get up to make his exit. He sat right back down when Pardo tabled . Chop it up!
"Sick call, I thought GG for sure!" Soyza said with a big smile.

With the action back on Toma, he moved all in for 160,000 which got a fold from Fast, and a laugh from Carrel before he let his hand go as well.
