Yotsushika Goes Big on the River

Niveau 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushika opened to 7,000 in the cutoff and Mike Watson called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Watson check-called a bet of 7,000 from Yotsushika.

The {6-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Watson checked again. Yotsushika tossed in another bet of 18,000 and Watson stuck around to see the {9-Hearts} on the river. Watson checked for the third time and Yotsushika stuck in a much larger bet of 70,000 this time. Watson briefly thought but decided to lay his hand down.

Ayras Rivers a Flush

Niveau 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with around 50,000 in the middle, the action was on Pauli Ayras in the big blind. The board read {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Ayras led out for 40,000 from the big blind. Danny Tang was his opponent in the hijack and Tang made the call.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Ayras fired out a smaller bet of 30,000 this time. Tang mulled it over but eventually splashed in a call. Ayras turned over {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a flush and Tang conceded the pot.

Kenney Hands Over Chips to Tang

Niveau 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} board Bryn Kenney bet 21,000 out of the big blind and Danny Tang called.

The river was the {10-Spades} and both players checked. Kenney showed {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a missed straight draw, but a rivered pair of tens, and Tang leaned and looked at the board carefully before tabling {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of jacks.

Three Streets from Oshiro

Deuces Hold for Yotsushika

Niveau 4 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushika opened to 5,000 in early position and Sam Greenwood three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind. Yotsushika called and the flop came {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Greenwood led out for 10,000 which seemed to stump Yotsushika.

"How much?" Yotsushika asked. After confirming the 10,000 bet he was still perplexed. "That's all?" but got no response from Greenwood. Yotsushika indeed made the call.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Greenwood checked this time. Yotsushika flicked in a bet of 25,000 and Greenwood stuck around to see the {5-Spades} on the river. Both players quickly checked and Greenwood tabled {a-}{k-}. Yotsushika turned over {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and was awarded the pot.
