Lecardonnel Makes McEathron Fold

Ryan McEathron raised to 700 from the hijack and he was called by small blind Alexandre Reard and big blind Fabien Lecardonnel. The flop was dealt and all three players checked their option.

The turn was the and Reard checked to Lecardonnel who now led out with a bet of 800. McEathron called but Reard got out of the way.

The river was the and completed the straight on the board. Lecardonnel now bet 6,000 in a pot of 4,000 and put McEathron to the test. The Canadian got out of the way and the pot was pushed to Lecardonnel

The Frenchman already had some success in Barcelona when he won the €550 CEP Main Event here a week ago for €110,000.

Anas Belatik raised from the cutoff to 700 and he was called by both players in the blinds. Joao Vieira sat in the small blind and he checked after the flop was dealt and so did Leonardo Armino in the big blind. Belatik slowed down after showing preflop aggression and checked behind.
