Burresi Busts, Bise Doesn't

Niveau 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Gianpaolo Burresi was all in for the last 1,800 and Marco Monello reluctantly called out of the big blind with the {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Burresi was ahead with the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and flopped top pair on {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, but Monello turned trips with the {2-Hearts}. The river was the {k-Spades} and that was it for Burresi.

Emil Bise also ended up all in. On a flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}, Bise faced a bet of 5,000 and jammed for the last 10,300 to get called by the opponent with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Bise had the best of it with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and the {a-Hearts} turn and {k-Hearts} river run out brought no surprise.
