Freek Scholten moved in from middle position for 450,000 and Josip Vidovic reshoved in the small blind, showing when the big blind folded. Scholten was dominated with and missed his backdoor straight on the board.
An all in and call were overheard from Table 4 as Tobias Heinsdorf had shoved his last 400,000 or so in from the cutoff and received action from Lior Tal in the small blind.

Heinsdorf picked up a pair of kings on the flop but that was as close as he would come to cracking Tal's aces as the turn and river completed the runout with Tal sending Heinsdorf to the payout line just a few minutes after returning from break.
Hand #2:
Another all-in and call was then heard on an adjacent table, with Dmitry Yurasov all in on the button against Jan-Eric Schwippert, who was in the cutoff.

Much like the hand prior, Yurasov also flopped top pair as the board came but would fail to improve any further on the turn and river to result in his elimination just moments after Heinsdorf's.
Meanwhile, both Tal and Schwippert now find themselves with over 2 million in chips and are among the largest stacks in the room with 30 players remaining.
With on the felt, Ivan Banic checked in the big blind and Piotr Wiecek bet 60,000 from under the gun. Lior Tal called in middle position and Banic shoved for 260,000. Wiecek clicked to 460,000 to fold out Tal.

Wiecek didn't have an out in the deck and shipped over a double.
Gab Yong Kim raised under the gun to 70,000 and the next seat had Mikhail Zub in it who pushed all in for 500,000. Janosch Hain then goes all in as well for 1,200,000. Kim folded when it folded back to him and they opened up.

The gave both players a little bit of hope, but the turn and river awarded Zub with the best hand.
Alexandre Reard checked from the big blind on and Ivan Banic bet 135,000 into about 165,000 in middle position. Reard came out with 315,000 and Banic tanked awhile then flicked in a chip. Reard showed for a turned straight.
Liwei Sun was very short and Jose Quintas put the pressure on him from the button. The small blind folded but Sun called for his tournament live as he put his last 6 big blinds in the middle.

The board ran out and Quintas flopped a straight to eliminate Sun.
Mikhail Zub was on the button and opened to 65,000 upon action folding to him. Jean-Rene Fontaine defended his big blind and the two saw a flop of . Fontaine checked and Zub put out a continuation-bet of 60,000. Fontaine check-raised all in.
After a few moments, Zub asked the dealer how much the raise was for and Fontaine's stack was counted to be 545,000. He took another 40 seconds or so and then sent his cards to the muck.
"Show the bluff!" said a player at the table.
"No bluff," replied Fontaine with a smile as he raked in the pot.
Sam Grafton bet 45,000 from the button on a flop and Ghassan Yared made it 100,000 from the big blind. Grafton peeled and both checked the turn for a river. Yared bet 50,000 and Grafton quickly called but couldn't beat .
The next hand, the board read on the river and Yared bet 90,000. Grafton announced 350,000, most of his remaining chips. Yared thought only briefly before folding.
