Franz Ditz saw action folded to him in the hijack and raised to 1,200. Action folded to Anatolii Zyrin in the small blind, who three-bet to 4,100. Ditz called.

The flop dropped and Zyrin put out a continuation-bet of 3,500. Ditz thought for some time and then threw out raising chips, announcing a total of 8,600. The dealer confirmed via announcement and Zyrin went into the tank before mucking his hand about 20 seconds later, resulting in Ditz winning the three-bet pot with his flop raise.

Last year's runner-up in the €2,200 EPT National High Roller in Prague, Sonny Franco, joined the field in an effort to improve on his result from last year. He sits a little above starting stack but there is still a very long road ahead of Franco.

Franco lasted until 3 am on Day 2 of the tournament when he was eliminated by Yaniv Peretz. Franco banked €293,275 after a heads-up deal while Peretz settled for €253,965.

Andre Petrovic raised from middle position to 1,200 and Antoine Vranken called from the button. The player in the small blind three-bet to 3,600 and both Petrovic and Vranken stuck around to see the flop being dealt.

The player in the small blind continued with a bet of 5,400 and Petrovic got out of the way. Vranken raised to 11,500 but he was then three-bet by the small blind who put 25,400 in the middle which was an all-in. Vranken called and they opened up.

The board ran out with the on the turn and the on the river and both weren't enough for Vranken to take the pot. He was left behind with just 3,500.

Li Loses Flip To Bust

There was a raise to 1,000 from under the gun and Ole Olsen three-bet to 3,100 from middle position. Action made its way around to Vitaliy Li in the small blind and he cold four-bet all in for his last 8,400. The original opener folded and Olsen quickly called to send the two off to the races.

Li was out in front but not for long as a jack came in the window on the flop . Neither the turn nor the river were of further help to Li and he got up and made his way from the tournament area shortly after the completion of the runout.

Grimberg Wins With Small Raise

Yiyao Li opened to 900 under the gun and was called by Andrei Grimberg, who was in middle position. Action made its way around to the big blind, who also defended, and the three saw the flop come .

The big blind checked to Li, who made a continuation-bet of 1,500. Grimberg thought for about 40 seconds and then put out a raise to 3,400. The big blind quickly folded, putting action onto Li, who thought for a half-minute before sliding his cards forward across the felt face down, resulting in Grimberg winning the pot on the flop.

Even with the lost pot, Li looks to be one of the largest stacks in the room with a pile of chips that is just over three starting stacks midway through Level 5.
