Teun Mulder a deux fois plus de jetons que son plus proche poursuivant à l'aube du Jour 5 de l'EPT Prague 2022 qui a rassemblé 1 190 entrants.
Ils étaient encore 119 dimanche matin puis 42 lundi pour le Jour 4 qui a donc été fatal à 3 Français. Paul-François Tedeschi, Bruno Fitoussi et Antoine Saout ont rendu les armes alors que Manuel Labous continue d'étonner avec 44 blindes à la reprise et le 8e tapis des 16 rescapés du field.
Short-stack et dans le fin fond du classement en début de Jour 4, Alexandre Amiel sera de la partie mardi à midi pour viser une place en finale avec 1,4 millions de jetons. Il restera 78 minutes à jouer dans le niveau 25 000 - 50 000 (50 000) au restart, le journaliste-producteur aura donc 28 blindes pour s'exprimer.
Les 16 rescapés ont assuré un gain de 45,540€ mais il y a 1 million à la gagne! Le Néerlandais Mulder est bien évidemment favori pour la finale mais le trophée EPT n'est pas encore dans la poche. Le patron provisoire ne fera probablement pas carré dans un pot énorme en streaming tous les jours.
Symeon Alexandridis (4,065,000) est distancé mais Andrea Cortellazi (2,775,000) qui complète le podium est aussi très loin derrière !
Du coup Mulder devrait pouvoir abuser de sa position dominante... même s'il devra se méfier de deux champions EPT. Adrian Mateos est l'unique ancien vainqueur à être tombé lors du Jour 4, Dimitar Danchev est lui encore là.
Vainqueur du Main Event WSOP, et vainqueur de l'EPT Prague, Hossein Ensan peut devenir le 3e joueur à réussir le doublé EPT et le premier à remporter deux fois le même tournoi... mais avec 11 blindes l'Allemand d'origine iranienne a beaucoup de chemin à faire...

Le Jour 4 a été fatal à Jack Sinclair. L'Anglais vainqueur du Main Event WSOP Europe s'est fait craquer les Rois... ce qui a propulsé Andrea Cortellazzi vers les sommets. En tête en fin de Jour 3, Gab Yong Kim reviendra avec le 12e tapis alors que Dawid Kuliberda a rendu les armes (23e).

Côté tricolore c'est Antoine Saout qui a été la première victime. Le double finaliste Main Event WSOP a trouvé une premium avec un peu plus de 20 blindes... pour s'empaler sur la pointure au dessus. Le Breton termine 34e pour 20,890€.
Ezequiel Waigel (32e) et Duco Ten Haven (30e) ont tenu un peu plus longtemps avant que Bruno Fitoussi ne rejoigne aussi le rail. Le Français a chuté en 20e position contre son compatriote Manuel Labous, après un 70-30 perdu pour revenir à 25 blindes. Ensuite, Robert Heidorn n'a pas résisté non plus à la fin de journée (19e).

Paul Tedeschi raised to 500,000 in the cutoff and left himself just 10,000 behind. Grzegorz Glowny then moved all-in with the covering stack on the button and the blinds got out of the way. Tedeschi called it off and the following cards were tabled.
