No River Value for Kisacikoglu

Niveau 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu defended his big blind against a button raise by Jean-Noel Thorel for 5,500 and checked the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop. Thorel made it 6,000 to go and earned a call from Kisacikoglu. Both checked the {4-Spades} turn and {a-Clubs} river as Kisacikoglu announced a straight, revealing the {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

Thorel briefly showed his {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and mucked the cards thereafter.

Adams Walks Into Thorel's Aces

Niveau 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 5,500 from under the gun and Timothy Adams three-bet shoved all in for 54,000 out of the big blind. Thorel quickly called and Adams was in trouble.

Timothy Adams: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

The flop fell {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Thorel still held a big lead with his pocket aces. The {2-Clubs} on the turn meant Adams was drawing dead to the {6-Clubs} on the river.

Two Bets from Mateos

Niveau 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The action folded to Ben Heath in the small blind who limped in and Adrian Mateos checked his option in the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Heath check-called a min-bet of 2,500 from Mateos.

The turn brought the {q-Spades} and Heath checked again. Mateos sized up a bet of 12,500 this time and Heath quickly dumped his cards in the muck.

Just moments ago, Fedor Holz also took a seat at the lone table in action as of right now with a fresh stack of 100,000 chips.

Big River Raise Does the Trick for Greenwood

Niveau 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Sam Greenwood made it 6,000 to go and was called only by Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind. On a {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, O'Dwyer check-called for 5,500 and both checked the {q-Clubs} on the turn.

O'Dwyer then bet the {q-Hearts} river for 8,500 and Greenwood raised big to 70,000. One time bank extension was used by O'Dwyer, who then opted to fold.

Mateos Catches Up on the River

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 6,000 in early position and was called by Adrian Mateos on his left. They went heads-up to a flop of {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Holz started with a check. Mateos bet 6,000 and Holz check-raised to 30,000 which Mateos called.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Holz checked again. Mateos fired out a bet of 21,000 and Holz just called this time. The river was the {9-Clubs} and both players quickly tapped the table. Holz tabled {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of eights but Mateos rivered the best hand with {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines.

Holz Felted by Mateos

Niveau 9 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The action started with a raise to 6,500 by Fedor Holz and Adrian Mateos glanced at his stack from one seat over before clicking it up to 20,000. It folded all the way back to Holz, who pushed all-in and was snap-called.

Fedor Holz: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Adrian Mateos: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop vaulted Mateos into the lead but Holz had outs with a gutshot. More outs were added with the {a-Hearts} on the turn but the {a-Diamonds} river was a blank, sending Holz to the rail fewer than half an hour after he had entered the tournament.
