Huber Gets Two-For-One Deal

Niveau 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action picked up preflop with three players getting all the chips in the middle. Massimiliano Zanasi was the shortest stack, Luis Manuel Moreira had about 30,000, and Josef Huber had them both well covered as the big stack at the table.

Massimiliano Zanasi: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Luis Manuel Moreira: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Josef Huber: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Huber had the only pair, and pairing either if his cards wasn't going to help Zanasi.

The flop showed up {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}, keeping Huber in the lead.

"Straight," called out Zanasi, his slim hope of survival resting on runner-runner cards.

The turn obliged with the {4-Hearts}, but the river {j-Hearts} fell short of the miracle and Huber and his pocket fives was left collecting both players' stacks.

Krzymyk Wins the Race

Niveau 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Peter Kalev opened with a shove from the cutoff for about 14,000. Action folded to Marcus Krzymyk who moved all in himself for about 36,000. Everyone else folded and the two headed to a flip.

Petar Kalev: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Marcus Krzymyk: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Needing an ace or king for the knockout, Krzymyk got two of them on the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop. The {6-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} river locked it up and Kalev was eliminated.

Lococo Drills Perfect Turn

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Action picked up on the turn with Tobias Garp and Alejandro Lococo battling for a pot. The board showed {q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.

Garp was in the big blind and Lococo was under the gun. The two players had just traded a few bets to get all the chips in the middle, Lococo the effective stack with 35,200, Garp with slightly more. Garp didn't like the hand Lococo showed.

Alejandro Lococo: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Tobias Garp: {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Lococo drilled the one outer on the turn to get it all in. All he needed was to avoid the two remaining queens on the river to get the double. The {5-Diamonds} fell and sealed it, leaving Garp with less 20 bigs.

Giannakopoulos Finds a Triple

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action picked up heading to a flop three ways with Stefanos Giannakopoulos all in for a smaller main pot and two other players battling for a side pot, Adrian Maciej Panko in the cutoff and Jarkko Tapani Laine in the small blind.

The flop showed up {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Laine led for 20,000, then Panko folded quickly. Cards up, Giannakopoulos had plenty of outs against Laine.

Stefanos Giannakopoulos: {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Jarkko Tapani Laine: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Laine flopped a set, but Giannakopoulos had a big combo draw. The {9-Diamonds} turn was no help, but the {5-Clubs} river gave him the flush to keep his tournament alive while Laine took down the side pot.

Vodak Adds More, Eliminates One

Niveau 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Luca Marchetti opened to 2,500 from the cutoff. The player on the button moved all in for about 16,000. From the big blind, Petr Vodak four-bet to about 35,000, causing Marchetti to release his cards and the remaining two headed to a runout.

All-in player: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Petr Vodak: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Vodak had his opponent dominated, and neither could improve on the [js9hjh2h4] runout, so Vodak took it down.

Noske Extracts Value From Nader

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action began on the turn in a heads-up pot between two table big stacks. The board read {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Thomas Noske led for 5,000 into about 13,000 from the small blind. Alfred Nader made the call from the cutoff.

The river brought another king, the {k-Diamonds}. Noske repeated the same bet, 5,000 on the river.

Nader thought for 45 seconds before he started talking. "I want to see what you have," he said as he tossed in a chip. "Of course you win."

Noske showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for the winner.

"Maybe, maybe you were bluffing," said Nader as he released his cards.
