Ayras Already on the Ropes

Niveau 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pablo Brito Silva raised to 10,000 from the hijack before Pauli Ayras shoved all in from the big blind. Brito Silva used a time bank before committing his last 75,000.

Pablo Brito Silva: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Pauli Ayras: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Ayras picked up a flush draw heading to the river on a {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} board as well as his two overcards and counterfeit outs, but he missed the {8-Diamonds} as Brito Silva doubled up with a full house.

Ayras, another player who took his seat at the start of Day 2, is already down to 10,000 less than 10 minutes into his tournament.

Smith was in need of help against the better kicker of Chidwick and when the river came the {6-Clubs} it was the end of the road for Smith as he was eliminated in the first level of Day 2.

"That was 25k well spent, good luck guys," said Smith as he exited the tournament area.

Ayras Done; Hissou Survives

Niveau 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Pauli Ayras had managed to increase his stack to 35,000 when he shoved from the cutoff. David Peters in the small blind reshoved and Pablo Brito Silva in the big blind got out of the way.

Pauli Ayras: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
David Peters: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The board came {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Ayras was already standing up from his chair by the time the {5-Hearts} fell on the river, sending him to the rail.

At the same time on another table, Sirzat Hissou was all in for 54,000 and up against Artur Martirosian. Hissou had {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and needed to hold on against Martirosian's {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.
