Aces Hold as Keeton Dodges a Chop

Niveau 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Sean Keeton opened from early position and Pim van Wassenberg three-bet in middle position. Keeton then four-bet jammed a stack of about 350,000 and van Wassenberg called with a bigger stack.

Sean Keeton: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Pim van Wassenberg: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Keeton was still ahead after the flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and the {8-Diamonds} didn't change much.

"Jack!" van Wassenberg cheered as he tried to spike his two-outer.

"Five!" countered table mate Morten Lie as he rooted for a straight on the board.

The {2-Hearts} on the river didn't change anything and Keeton secured the double up with aces.

"'Five?!'" Keeton asked Lie in disbelief.

"Everyone loves a chopped pot!" Lie said.

"No one loves a chopped pot," replied Keeton.

Gomes Exhausts Clock

Niveau 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The board read {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} on the river. Hugo Gomes had bet 75,000 and was jammed on by Salvatore Camarda who shoved for 310,000.

Gomes thought for a long time before the clock was called. The floor came over and counted it down to zero as Gomes would still not release his cards for a few seconds. He eventually pushed them forward as his hand was dead.

Paul Cukier was all in preflop holding the {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and was in dire straights as Hugo Gomes held the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

The board would do no wonders to save Cukier as it came out {6-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} and he was sent to the rail.
