Peralta Takes Pot from Piroddi Without Showdown

, Derek Chun Cheung Ip bet 1,100 from early position and Eugenio Peralta raised to 3,800 from middle position. Federico Piroddi then cold-called in late position and Cheung Ip got out of the way.
Peralta checked on the 
turn and his opponent checked back. Peralta checked once more on the 
river and Piroddi bet 6,900.
"Ace-jack?" Peralta asked before making the call.
It must not have been ace-jack as Piroddi slid his cards into the muck facedown to concede the pot to his fellow Italian without any showdown.
