Saltonas Eliminated by Pastor's Six-Three Offsuit

Niveau 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With 10,500 already in the middle on a {3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} board, Daniel Pastor checked over to Tomas Saltonas in the cutoff, who put out a bet of 5,500. Pastor, from the big blind, then put Saltonas all in for roughly 18,000 more. Saltonas was visibly not pleased and, after a little less than two minutes, made the call.

Daniel Pastor: {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Tomas Saltonas: {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Saltonas had made two pair on the turn while Pastor had both a pair and a king-high flush draw.

The {9-Clubs} hit the river and Saltonas was eliminated while Pastor enjoyed a healthy addition to his chip stack.

Alibas Not Able to Quintuple Up, Exits the Tournament

Salim Alibas
Salim Alibas

Lucas Scafini opened from under the gun to 2,000 and was called by Haghgou Seyedahmad in early position, Salim Alibas (who was all in for his last 2,000), in the hijack, Gerald Eisele in the small blind, and Tomasz Wrobel in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and all four remaining players checked around.

The turn brought the {4-Clubs} and Wrobel bet 5,000 and was only called by Scafini, creating a 10,000-chip side pot.

The river was the {5-Diamonds} to put four diamonds on the board. Wrobel checked over to Scafini, who bet 15,000. Wrobel scoffed and folded.

Scafini turned over {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines, meaning Alibas had a decent chance to quintuple up. Unfortunately, he had {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and was eliminated.

Wrobel, meanwhile, was visibly disappointed and when asked by another player if he had two pair, he nodded, accepting that he had folded the best hand.

Korban Leaves Viscoso on 20 Big Blinds

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Danny van der Meer opened from middle position to 1,200 and was called by Oleg Korban in the hijack, Kavin Shah on the button, and Valentina Viscoso from the big blind.

The flop came {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and everyone tapped the table.

On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Korban lead out for 2,000 and only Viscoso made the call.

The {k-Hearts} completed the board and Korban said "4,000" while putting out a single blue chip. After brief deliberation, Viscoso called, leaving a little over 11,000 behind.

Korban showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the nut straight and got himself back to slightly above starting stack.

Ricquebourg Nearly Felts Miah with Ace-High Flush

Niveau 5 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

There was already 5,000 in the pot on a {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} board with four players still in the hand. Mohamed El Hamdi, from the big blind, put out a bet of 2,500. Erick Sarkis called from under the gun and Jean Ricquebourg also came for the ride from early position. Ashique Miah, on the button, also called.

Going four ways to the river, the {k-Hearts} completed the board. El Hamdi and Sarkis both checked to Ricquebourg, who bet 9,000. Miah, who only had 12,400 behind, pondered his decision for over a minute before making the call. The other two players called.

Ricquebourg turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the ace-high flush and the win, nearly felting Miah. Miah would be eliminated a short time later.
