The trio saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Bjornstad checked. Ricci bet 3,800, Henrion called, and Bjornstad folded.

The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Ricci checked. Henrion bet 12,500 to send Ricci into the tank, and the Italian eventually laid down his hand to concede the pot.

With roughly 20,000 in the pot on a {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{q-Clubs} completed board, Bernard Vadella was facing a bet of 9,000 against Imed Ben Mahmoud. Vadella thought about it and called.

Mahmoud tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a busted straight draw, while Vadella revealed {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} to claim the pot, and he added the chips to his stack.

Lestrade Bets the River

Jean-Yves Lestrade bet 700 from the next seat over and Quentin Laugt called from the button. Chaudey and Mambour got out of the way and the river was {6-Hearts}.

Lestrade continued on the river for 2,300 and Laugt thought it over. After a few moments he tossed his hand in the muck and Lestrade took the pot.

Benjamin Spragg
