2022 EPT Monte-Carlo

The 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour presented by Monte-Carlo Casino®️ continues at Monte-Carlo Sporting and Day 1c of the €1,100 French Poker Series (FPS) Main Event is set to begin at noon local time. Yesterday marked the return of the EPT Monte Carlo festivities following a three-year hiatus, and the much-anticipated action kicked off with two starting flights of this event.

On Day 1a, 55 players survived out of 371 entries, while 41 out of 272 advanced in Day 1b. Germany’s Alexander Tkatschew bagged the top stack in Day 1a with 650,000 chips and France’s Brice Romain Guido grabbed the big stack in Day 1b with 566,000. This is the third of four starting flights, with the final starting flight set to take place as a turbo format later this evening at 6 p.m. local time.

Players will be given a starting stack of 30,000 chips. The blinds will begin at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and the levels will be 40 minutes in length for this third flight. There is one re-entry allowed per flight and late registration will close after Level 10. Play will continue until 15% of the field remains, and those who bag for Saturday’s Day 2 will all be in the money.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team brings you updates of the action throughout the day and throughout the series in Monte Carlo.
