Sam Greenwood accélère

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

Garnero Doubles Through Hissou

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Heads-up to the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades} turn with 9,500 in the middle, Sirzat Hissou and Charles Garnero got their chips into the middle. Garnero had the inferior stack as he was at risk for the last 34,800 but his {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} was ahead versus {k-Spades}{5-Spades}.

The kicker played thanks to the {9-Diamonds} river and Garnero doubled.

Spragg Wins With a Flop Bet

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Thomas Muehloecker raised to 2,100 from the cutoff and Benjamin Spragg three-bet to 8,400 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Muehloecker called. The flop was {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

Spragg continued for 6,000 and Muehloecker folded to give him the pot.

Martini en toute détente

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Petrone Busts Dickerson and Doubles Through Panagiotidis

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ramiro Petrone
Ramiro Petrone

Vasileios Panagiotidis looked up two shorter stacks when Jules Dickerson was all-in for the last 20,500 and Ramiro Petrone got it in from the very next seat for 50,800, creating the following three-way all-in showdown.

Jules Dickerson: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Ramiro Petrone: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Vasileios Panagiotidis: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop and {10-Spades} river put the Greek on the brink of a double knockout but Petrone spiked the {9-Spades} on the river. Perhaps the most well-known Greek word followed several times, as Panagiotidis exclaimed "malaka" before parting ways with a big portion of his stack.

To those not knowing the meaning, it can be said to a "good friend" or the exact opposite and is frequently used when explaining hand histories.

Rudolph and Kulev Chip Up

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ole Schemion had 2,200 in front while on the button and Alex Kulev then raised to 11,500 in the big blind. A potential third player was already forced out and Schemion gave it some thought before calling. Kulev bet the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop and Schemion folded.

One table over, the turn showed {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Aleksandar Tomovic checked in the big blind. Christian Rudolph bet 8,600 for Tomovic to call. Both checked the {10-Diamonds} river and Tomovic turned over {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a pair and missed straight draw. That was no good, as Rudolph had the superior pair in {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Structure Magique

Kolkowicz Takes From Davies

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With 17,000 in the pot and {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades} on the board, Seth Davies checked and Michael Kolkowicz bet 9,600. Davies called and the river was {10-Clubs}. Both players checked the river and turned over their cards.

Davies had {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of fours, but Kolkowicz turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} to take the pot with a pair of kings.

Seire Jams Into Kaverman

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With a main pot of around 13,500 to the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} flop and bets of 3,000 as well as 10,500 pulled into the middle to the {k-Hearts} turn and {7-Spades} river, the action was picked up with a check by Byron Kaverman in late position. Casimir Seire on the button pushed all-in for 28,000 and had the slightly covering stack.

Kaverman went deep into the tank but none of the other players on the table called the clock. Ultimately, Kaverman released his cards into the muck and dropped below the starting stack while Seire won the pot to move above the average.
