Adams Takes One, Lococo Takes the Other
Niveau 5
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Timothy Adams raised to 5,500 from the cutoff and Alejandro Lococo called on the button.
Both players checked to the river on a board of J♣Q♥7♠9♥3♠ where Adams bet 21,000. Lococo called and Adams showed J♦9♦ for two pair to win the pot.
A few hands later, Adams and Lococo went heads-up to the flop in a blind versus blind battle where Adams bet 2,500 on 2♦9♠K♥. Lococo called and both players checked the 2♠ turn.
The river was the 10♠ and Adams led out for 4,500. Lococo then came back with a raise to 33,000 and Adams used up nearly his entire 30-second clock before mucking.
