Mokri Picks Off Adams to Cross a Million

David Salituro

Niveau 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of J♣K♠6♣, Kayhan Mokri bet 9,000 from the button and Timothy Adams called in the small blind.

Both players checked the 10♦ turn before Adams led out for 36,000 on the 7♠ river. Mokri quickly called and Adams showed A♣9♣.

Mokri turned over K♥3♠ for a pair of kings as he took in the pot, eclipsing the 1,000,000-chip milestone.

Jean-Noel Thorel recently retook his seat in the tournament after busting earlier this level.
