Felipe Ketzer raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and Ottomar Ladva called on the button.

Both players checked the 754 flop before Ketzer led out for 2,000 on the 2 turn. Ladva called to see the 9 river.

Ketzer then bet another 3,000 and Ladva this time raised to 15,500. Ketzer burned through two time banks before emerging with a raise to 55,500. Ladva quickly folded.

Felipe Ketzer raised to 2,500 from under the gun and action folded around to big blind Kayhan Mokri, who called to go heads-up to the 10910 flop.

Ketzer continued for 1,000 and Mokri raised to 3,000. Ketzer called and the 10 fell on the turn.

Mokri then bet another 3,500 and Ketzer used a time bank before raising to 18,500. Mokri quickly folded.

"Big Hand, Big Bet" For Mokri

Heads-up on a flop of J310, Kayhan Mokri bet 2,000 from under the gun and Seyed Dezfooli called in the big blind.

EPT Barcelona High Roller Schedule Kicks Off With €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em at 12:30 PM

PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona is a paradise for poker’s high rollers, with several big buy-in events populating the schedule. The first begins today with €25,000 No-Limit Hold’em at 12:30 p.m. local time.

This event last year attracted a select but elite field of 50, with Francisco Benitez defeating Ramiro Petrone heads-up to earn €341,565 and his second win of the festival. Artur Martirosian, Erik Seidel, and Timothy Adams also made runs to the final table.

The 2023 version of the tournament is a one-day event, featuring 100,000 starting stacks and 30-minute levels. There is a 15-minute break every four levels and a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 14 which should come around 8:15 p.m. Players are allowed unlimited reentries, with late registration remaining open until the end of Level 10 around 6:15 p.m.

This is just the first of seven events on the EPT Barcelona schedule featuring a buy-in of €25,000 or higher. A virtual who’s who of the poker world will make their way to Casino Barcelona today, but only one will lift the trophy at the end.
