Grafton Has "Glimmer of Hope" Dashed

Tom Orpaz raised to 12,000 on the button and Sam Grafton called in the small blind.

The flop came 9♠K♣2♦ and Orpaz bet another 12,000. Grafton took the chips to call and slammed them down near Orpaz's bet.

Grafton also checked the 2♠ turn and Orpaz bet 30,000. Grafton again called and both players checked the 5♥ river.

Grafton showed 4♠4♣, but Orpaz had K♥J♠ to win the pot with two pair.

"Gave me a glimmer of hope," Grafton told him.

"If I check it means I have it. I never give up," Orpaz replied.
