In a blind versus blind situation, Martin Diaz in the small blind and Ilia Pavlov were on the turn on 2♦5♦4♥ when Pavlov bet 400,000. Diaz check-called, and saw the 9♦ land on the river.

Ilia Pavlov opened to 160,000 from the hijack and then Sergi Reixach in the small blind three-bet to 560,000.

Pavlov called to see the flop 3♠2♣K♣, where Reixach bet 250,000. Pavlov raised to 1,000,000. Reixach counted his stack and called.

On the turn 6♣, Pavlov bet a modest 500,000 and Reixach check-called.

The 8♥ landed on the river and Reixach checked before Pavlov moved all in.

"I'm going to use those time banks," Reixach said, spreading his time bank cards in front of him. He went into the tank for one minute and eventually called with K♦6♦ for two pair.

"Nuts," said Pavlov, revealing A♣8♣ for the best possible flush and best possible hand. He became the first player in the tournament to accumulate over 7,000,000 chips.
