Efe Gets Massive Double Through Pepping

Niveau 30 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Roelof Pepping opened the cutoff to 240,000 before the action made it to Aziz Efe who defended his big blind.

The 77J flop hit the felt and Efe checked it over to Pepping who put out a bet of 150,000. Efe took a moment and then put in a check-raise to 425,000.

Pepping thought it over, looked at the dealer, and announced he was all in. Efe snap called.

Aziz Efe: Q10
Roelof Pepping: KJ

Pepping was in the lead but Efe had plenty of outs. The 9 turn gave him even more in the form of a combo draw. He was looking for a diamond, king, or eight to complete his straight or flush. Luckily he drilled both a straight and a flush in the form of a K river.

Efe got a pure double and Pepping was left with only about six blinds.

Nader Drills the River

Niveau 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Valeriy Pak opened in late position to 225,000 before the action made it to Alfred Nader in the big blind who peeked at his cards, took a moment, and then flat called.

The A510 flop hit the felt and Nader took almost no time before announcing he was all in. Action was on Pak who also didn't waste anyone's time with a count and flicked in a call.

Alfred Nader: Q8
Valeriy Pak: A9

Nader needed some help in the form of a diamond or running cards. The dealer did not bring help on the 6 turn but Nader drilled the 3 on the river to earn the pure double.

He now sits with a workable stack and got some much needed breathing room.
