Mark Buckley:
Jeremie Zouari:
There were some raised eyebrows because of the rather slow call of Zouari, who came out on top of the board. Dalfo Batlle finished in 14th place for €15,600 while Buckley earned the pay jump to 13th place worth a payday of €18,750.
Having lost nearly half of his stack since the final two tables started, Arnaud Mattern pushed all in for 620,000 on the button. Jon Kyte in the big blind asked for an exact count and came along to put the French veteran at risk.

Antony Marchetti raised to 160,000 from under the gun to claim the blinds and big blind ante.
One hand later with the big blind ante approaching in the next hand, table short stack Alexandru Papazian raised to 160,000. Wagner Ripper on the button three-bet to 320,000 and also left a small portion of his stack behind as Papazian had done.
It folded back to Papazian, who vaulted out of his chair to see the action on the other table. Two seconds later, he called all in and the cards were on their backs.
Alexandru Papazian:
Wagner Ripper:
"I like it," the WSOP bracelet winner said with a grin on his face. He picked up a lot of equity on the flop and asked for the eight of spades. An eight was what he needed, but when the followed on the turn, the river was too little, too late, denying Papazian the pay jump and he had to settle for €13,600.
There were three all-in situations on three separate tables of which two went all the way but only one resulted in a seat open. Floor staff instructed the dealers to wait until all action was completed before they ran them one after the other as a potential pay jump would be split if there was more than one elimination.

Marton Czuczor was holding on for dear life during the last orbit, sitting on less than one big blind and waiting for the moment to put his remaining chips in the middle. That moment came when he was under the gun and he went all in for 40,000. Mehdi Chaoui raised to 150,000 and Jon Kyte reraised to 1.5 million. Chaoui folded and two players flipped their cards.
