Teun Mulder opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Niklas Astedt called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Astedt check-called a bet of 9,000 from Mulder.

The {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Astedt check-called another bet of 23,000 from the Dutchman. The {q-Hearts} completed the board and Astedt checked for the third time. Mulder ripped all in for 53,000 which put Astedt in the think-tank. After using three of his time banks, Astedt finally ditched his cards and Mulder stacked the pot.

Mateos Left With Crumbs Before Break

Picking action up with about 70,000 in the middle on a completed board of {3-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades}, Adrian Mateos moved all in from the small blind for 57,000 and got quickly called by Thomas Muehloecker in the big blind with a comparable stack.

Mateos showed {j-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a failed bluff as Muehloecker showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a winning two pair.

Mateos left the tournament area thinking he was eliminated, but he was chased down by tournament staff to let him know that he still has 1,500 remaining to return from break to.
