Russo's Flopped Set Sends Jobelius Out
Niveau 11
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Peter Jobelius was all in for his last 12,500 before the flop, and it was Aurelien Russo looking for the knockout.
Peter Jobelius: A♣10♦
Aurelien Russo: 9♥9♣
It was the classic race, but the K♥9♦8♠ flop left Jobelius drawing slim as Russo made a set of nines. The 3♦ hit the turn, leaving Jobelius drawing dead, and the J♦ river was just a formality as he exited the table.
