Xanthopoulos Makes the Right Call
Niveau 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ken Oberliessen opened to 6,000 from middle position and was called by Pavlos Xanthopoulos in the big blind.
Xanthopoulos check-called a 3,000 bet from Oberliessen on the K♦K♠6♣ flop and a 17,000 bet from Oberliessen on the 3♦ turn.
The 7♥ completed the board and Xanthopoulos checked a final time. Oberliessen wasn't done and fired 47,000 into the middle, leaving himself a single 500-denomination chip behind.
Xanthopoulos tanked a bit but eventually stuck in a call. Oberliessen turned over Q♥J♥ for a bluff and Xanthopoulos tabled 7♠6♠ for a winning two pair to take down the monster pot.
