Graells Rivers Straight to Save Tournament Life

Ben Weiss

Niveau 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Ricardo Graells shoved from under the gun for 58,000. His only caller was Roei Siman Tov in the small blind.

Ricardo Graells: Q♥J♠
Roei Siman Tov: A♥8♥

The flop came 4♣10♠K♠ giving Graells an open-ended straight draw but still leaving him behind.

A 4♠ on the turn did nothing to change the situation.

The 9♣ river was far more consequential, giving Graells a straight and keeping him in the tournament.
