Silva Scores the Knockout
Niveau 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
With about 275,000 in the middle, the flop read 10♣5♥3♣. Ricardo De Andrade checked to his only opponent in the hand Pablo Silva who put out a bet of 75,000. After thinking for a few moments, De Andrade check-raised all-in for about 460,000 and Silva made the call.
Ricardo De Andrade: 5♠4♣
Pablo Silva: A♦5♦
Both players flopped a pair of fives but Silva was in the lead with his ace-kicker. The 7♥ turn and A♥ river improved him to two pair, sending De Andrade to the rail.
