A modest number of 45 unique players showed up for Day 1 of the €10,200 Mystery Bounty at the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague. Together, they made 11 reentries to create a field of 56 entries. Eight of them will return today to the Hilton Prague for Day 2, with Ukraine's Oleg Vasylchenko having the chip lead. He will bring 1,665,000 chips to the final table, good for 42 big blinds at the start of play.

Online legend Elias "SinKarma" Gutierrez is right behind Vasylchenko with a stack of 1,105,000, while Dimitar Danchev (810,000) and Enrico Camosci (710,000) will also start the day with above-average stacks.

Meanwhile, Antoine Labat (400,000), Marcelo Bonanata (390,000), Masato Kashiwabara (320,000), and absolute short stack Paul Newey (200,000) all bagged up ten big blinds or less, making them prime candidates to be hunted for their bounty tokens.

Mystery bounty tokens will only be distributed at the start of Day 2, meaning that the full bounty prize pool of €280,000 is still there for the taking for the returning players. With the average bounty being worth €35,000, more than three buy-ins to the tournament, the action is promising to be abundant and explosive. The exact distribution of the mystery bounties is unknown as of yet but will be posted once it is announced.

Meanwhile, the €263,200 cash prize pool will also be divided among the final table of eight. The eventual winner will receive €80,300 plus at least two bounties, while the first player to be eliminated will only receive a consolation prize of €10,550 for their efforts.
