Okamura Doesn't Waste Time Stacking Chips
Hirokazu Kobayashi raised to 5,000 under the gun and Motoyoshi Okamura, playing his first hand of the tournament, called in the hijack. Dimitar Danchev and Niklas Astedt also came along from the blinds.
The flop came 2♥J♥3♥ and action checked to Okamura who bet 15,000. Only Astedt called and they went heads-up to the 2♠ turn.
Both players checked and Astedt led out for 18,000 on the 7♣ river. Okamura then raised to 50,000 and Astedt used a time bank before folding, showing the K♥.
"Show one," Astedt asked and Okamura allowed him to choose one. Astedt picked the 10♥ as Okamura took down his first pot.
