Paul Lagan Eliminated in 9th Place (€12,800)
Niveau 21
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Boris Angelov raised to 100,000 under the gun and was called by Paul Lagan in the big blind. Lagan check-called Angelov's bets of 70,000 on the 10♥4♣K♣ flop and 165,000 on the 8♠ turn before leading out for 250,000 on the J♥ river.
Angelov then raised all in, with Lagan quickly calling off his total stack of about 700,000. Angelov tabled K♥K♦ for top set, while Lagan frustratedly slammed his 4♠4♥ on the table for a lower set.
Lagan exited in ninth but consoled himself with the fact that he had pulled the top bounty of €50,000 during the break.
