With around 90,000 in the middle on a flop of 9♠8♠8♦ Aleksejs Ponakovs bet 23,000 from under the gun. Kayhan Mokri called on the button and Atanas Malinov folded out of the big blind.
Ponakovs decided to check when the J♠ came on the turn and Mokri bet 78,000. Ponakovs quickly folded and Mokri won the pot.

Steve O'Dwyer and Sergio Fernandez were heads-up on a flop of 4♥5♣10♠.
O'Dwyer checked from the big blind and Fernandez bet 20,000 from early position. O'Dwyer then check-raised to 58,000 and, undeterred, Fernandez made it 145,000 to go. O'Dwyer called.
The 8♣ fell on the turn and O'Dywer checked to Fernandez, who put O'Dwyer all in for his last 256,000. O'Dwyer snap-called and a showdown was held.

Neychev needed some help if he was to stay alive in the tournament. It didn't come though, as the dealer put out a board of 7♣9♥5♥7♠3♣, which kept Velasevic's ace-high ahead the whole way. Velasevic won the pot and Neychev was out.
Jeremie Zouari shoved for his last 70,000 from early position and it was folded to Steve O'Dwyer in the big blind, who stuck in a call to put Zouari at risk.

Zouari had O'Dwyer dominated, but the Q♦Q♣6♦ flop left Zouari drawing nearly dead against O'Dwyer's trip queens.
The 7♥ turn confirmed Zouari's elimination and the 6♥ completed the board to award O'Dywer the knockout.
At another table, Boris Angelov was eliminated.
Juan Pardo opened to 22,000 from middle position and Simone Andrian defended out of the big blind.
Andrian check-called a bet of 18,000 from Pardo on the J♣3♥2♥ flop.
Both players checked the 6♠ turn and 6♦ river. Andrian took down the pot with K♣2♣ for a pair of deuces.
