Action was picked up with Alexandre Reard all in and at risk from the button versus the covering stack of Jose Nadal. The cards were on their backs.

Reard was well ahead preflop and he stayed ahead across the 7♠9♣10♣ flop. The cowboys held across the 3♣ turn and 10♠ river to secure Reard the double up.
Action folded around to Koichi Aiba who shoved for 56,000 from the cutoff. Mario Arrocha, who coveredAiba slightly, made the call from the big blind to put Koichi at risk.

Aiba's pocket eights held on the 4♥9♠2♣K♣3♦ runout and he collected a full double up while Arrocha was left with just under two big blinds.
Ioannis Poullos opened to 14,000 in the hijack and Roberto Romanello defended his big blind to the 9♠4♥7♥ flop.
Both players checked to the 7♠ turn, where Romanello led out for 17,000. Poullos called and the dealer turned over the 10♣ river.
Romanello checked to Poullos, who fired 35,000. That was good enough to take down an early pot as Romanello mucked.
Gianfranco Iaculli opened to 12,000 from the cutoff, Yuliyan Kolev three-bet shoved for 64,000 from the big blind and Iaculli made the call with a covering stack to put Kolev at risk.

Kolev was a huge favorite with pocket queens and remained ahead on the 3♣3♥3♦Q♣8♣ runout to score a full double up at Iaculli's expense.
Judy Whitlow was all in and at risk from the hijack versus the covering stack of Alex Sampirisi in the cutoff. Emika Senda also all in from the button and covered by Sampirisi.

The 9♣J♥2♣ gave Sampirisi a pair and left Whitlow drawing slim. The Q♠ offered Whitlow some outs to a straight but it was Senda's rockets that held through the 2♦ river to scoop the pot and eliminate Whitlow.
