Daisuke Ogita opened to 2,500 from under the gun and Andre Marques defended his big blind.
The 10♣8♦9♦ flop was checked through by both players.
On the A♣ turn Marques checked to Ogita, who put out a bet of 1,500. Marques then produced a check-raise to 6,000. Ogita called.
On the 3♥ river, Marques led out with a bet of 13,000, leaving himself a single 100 chip behind. Ogita moved all-in and Marques snap-folded.
Eduardo Lopes was all-in for around 15,000 and at risk versus Joakim Andersson.

Jeremie Demri raised to 2,600 in early position, then called when Andreas Kaddour shoved for 16,500 in the hijack.

Demri had Kaddour dominated, but Kaddour picked up a flush draw on the Q♥Q♠7♠ flop and completed it on the 8♠ turn. The river was the 3♦ and he doubled up off the former chip leader.
At the same time on another table, Leo Margets bet 5,000 from middle position on a flop of 7♦8♦4♥ and Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz raised to 12,000 in early position.
Margets called and the 5♦ fell on the turn. Wyrzykiewicz then put Margets all in and she snap-folded for her last 25,000.
Maher Achour opened in middle position before Sven Stok moved his larger stack all in from the hijack. Action folded back around to Achour, who made the call and was at risk.

Nozomu Shimizu was all in for his last 15,000 from the button and up against Allan Ribeiro under the gun.

Shimizu was dominated and fell even further behind on the 10♠5♥4♥ flop as Ribeiro made a set of tens. The 3♠ turn left him drawing dead, only for the 8♣ to fall on the river.
"That's the f**k you card," a tablemate joked as Shimizu headed for the rail.
Luuk Gieles opened to 2,500 and Marle Spragg defended her big blind.
On the 10♠7♦Q♣ flop, Spragg check-called a bet of 2,000 from Gieles.
The turn brought the J♦ and Spragg quickly check-folded to a bet of 9,000 from Gieles.

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.
EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, leading to a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.
