Halimi was dominated and remained behind as the board came 4♥2♦10♣9♠, but he caught the 7♥ on the river and slammed the table in celebration of his fortunate double up.

Halimi has been at the center of several verbal confrontations with his tablemates today after they accused him of taking too long on most of his decisions.

Konstantin Farber opened to 55,000 in early position and action folded to Gerard Rubiralta in the small blind, who produced a three-bet to 135,000.

Action folded back to Farber who reached for chips for the prompt all-in four-bet jam, which led to an even quicker fold from Rubiralta.

Michel Leibgorin raised to 60,000 under the gun, then called when Ivan Uzunov moved all in for around 480,000 in the small blind.

Leibgorin stood up with a giant magnifying glass and looked through it at the 2♦J♦J♥ flop that gave Uzunov a flush draw. The turn was the 10♣ and Uzunov improved to two pair, while the K♣ fell on the river.

Leibgorin prepared to hand over the pot until the table pointed out that he made a straight to bust Uzunov.

In a blind versus blind battle, 400,000 was in the middle and the board read J♠3♦8♦4♦10♥ when Yulian Bogdanov slid out a bet of 350,000, which put his opponent, Ehsan Amiri, at risk if he called. Bogdanov only slightly covered his opponent.

Amiri thought through the spot for quite some time, and at one point apologized to his tablemates.

He then made the call, turning over J♦10♠ for rivered top two pair. Bogdanov had got extremely unlucky as he held J♥3♣ for flopped two pair.

Even though he was the one involved in a pot against him, Amiri again gave Tamasauskas his genie's bottle and rooted for an ace to come. The flop came Q♥4♦3♦ and Amiri called for the 6♦, but the turn was the K♥ and kept him in the lead and poised for a knockout. The river, though, was the 5♣ and Tamasauskas made a straight to double up.

"I told you, the genie works 100 percent," Amiri said, laughing off the bad beat.

With around 150,000 in the pot on a board of 4♠A♠J♠5♥, Adil Oubaaous bet 90,000 from the cutoff and Claudio Di Giacomo called on the button.

The river was the 3♦ and Oubaaous checked. Di Giacomo then bet 165,000 and Oubaaous snap-called.

Di Giacomo turned over 2♠2♥ for a rivered straight and Oubaaous angrily flung his cards into the muck, letting out a loud groan as he handed over the pot.

Around 500,000 was in the middle on a board of 8♠8♥6♦J♥Q♣ in a hand between Yves Bianchetti and Viliyan Petleshkov.

Petleshkov only had one 25,000 chip behind and the players appeared to have agreed to give the hand a certain period of time before a money jump was reached, as Bianchetti said "There it is", and Petleshkov immediately put his last chip in and Bianchetti called.

Petleshkov had A♥10♦ for ace-high and Bianchetti had K♦J♠ for a pair of jacks, with Petleshkov taking his leave. Bianchetti moved over the 1.5 million mark.
