Camosci's Call Leaves Ladev Short

Enrico Camosci and Markkos Ladev were heads up on a completed board of 3♠9♣J♥J♦8♣. With around 65,000 chips in the middle, Camosci checked out of the big blind, after which Ladev fired 50,000 from the cutoff.

Camosci did not need long to flick in a call and saw his efforts rewarded when Ladev turned over A♣4♥ for a bluff. Camosci played two pair with 9♠8♥ and raked in another pot as he left his opponent with 12 big blinds.

Gill Can't Bet Out Brewer

Four-handed on a flop of 2♦5♠9♣, Guillaume Nolet bet 7,500 from the hijack and Sandeep Gill called on the button. Action then folded to Chris Brewer who raised to 20,000 under the gun, and both Nolet and Gill called.

The turn was the 3♦ and Brewer bet 30,000. Both opponents again called and the A♥ fell on the river.

Brewer slowed down and checked, as did Nolet while Gill tossed out 25,000. Brewer tanked for a moment before calling, while Nolet folded this time.

Gill turned over 10♦9♦, but Brewer had A♦4♦ for a straight to win the pot.

At the same time on another table, Mike Watson flopped a set of kings holding K♦K♠ on a board of K♣8♣5♠J♦10♦ as Joao Vieira was all in for his last 50,000. Vieira's cards hit the muck as he headed for the rail.
