Chan Comes Out Ahead Blind vs Blind

Niveau 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action folded to Kartik Ved in the small blind who limped. Daniel Chan was in the big blind and decided to check his action to bring out the JK7 flop.

Both players quickly checked through to the 7 turn card.

Ved checked over to Chan who decided to toss out a bet worth 9,000. Unconvinced, Ved flicked in the call to see the river bring the 2.

Ved checked once again and after a brief pause, Chan assembled a bet of 25,000 and tossed it in the middle. Ved thought briefly and checked his cards before making the call just to see the bad news as Chan turned over the winning K4, prompting a muck from Ved as the dealer awarded the pot to Chan.

Matthew Wantman opened from the hijack and Turbo Nguyen three-bet jammed a stack of 37,000 on the button. Wantman called with a bigger stack.

Matthew Wantman: KJ

An elimination at another table meant that Nguyen was at risk of bubbling. The flop of J59 gave Wantman a big lead.

"Life is good no matter what, guys," Nguyen said before the runout of 3K improved Wantman to two pair to mark Nguyen's elimination on the bubble.

"Stone bubble. Good game," Nguyen said as he left.

Urbonas Eliminated One Off the Bubble

Niveau 17 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Mantas Urbonas
Mantas Urbonas

Mantas Urbonas was forced all in for his last 3,000 in the big blind and was at risk against Sami Bechahed in the hijack.

Mantas Urbonas: A7
Sami Bechahed: KJ

Urbonas was a slight favorite until the QJ6 flop left him needing help. The 6 turn meant he needed only a non-heart ace to survive, but the 9 completed the board and Urbonas was eliminated as the field is now one elimination away from the money.
