The tournament room at the Casino de Marrakech continues to get busier and busier. The Day 1c field is now up to 358 players of which 281 are still hoping to build a stack to help them compete in Day 2 and beyond. With three more blind levels until late registration, it will be close as to whether last year's Day 1c field size of 411 is exceeded or not.
Team Winamax pro Pierre Calamusa holds one of the bigger stacks in play, however, it just got a little smaller after this hand took place.
Yassine Azouaou opened the action from late position with a raise to 1,200 which Calamusa called from the small blind and Spain's Javier Garcirreynaldos Barral, also known as "Tsunamy" came along for the flop.
Calamusa checked on the flop. "Tsunamy" bet 6,500, Azouaou folded, and Calamusa called. Both players then checked when the
created a four-heart board.
Things got slightly more interesting when Calamusa led out for 10,000 when the completed the board. "Tsunamy" thought for a second before declaring himself all-in. Calamusa quickly folded shipping a fairly big pot to his opponent.

The Day 1c field has passed 400 entrants. It should be close to see whether the 411 mark from last year will beat with a little more than an hour left in the late registration period.
For the past few days, Mathieu Bouthier has been busy working at the pool getting the masses to dance. It appears this is behind him, as he is now in the field sitting at a table with Guillaume Darcourt.
