Nowak in Action

Niveau 5 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Joao Simao and Renato Nowak battled until the early morning hours in the first €25,000 Super High Roller and the former finished second to Patrik Antonius, while the latter came third. Both are sharing the same table at the start along with early big stack Timothy Adams, who just defended his big blind against a raise by Nowak.

The {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked through and Adams check-called a bet of 50,000 on the {K-Diamonds} turn. The {3-Clubs} river completed the board and Adams checked once more, and Nowak's bet of 127,000 forced a fold.

Nowak was involved in a three-bet with Simao and let go on the flop.

"I had jacks." Ramos said. "You got the order wrong!" Ramos said to the dealer. "You're supposed to deals me the kings, him (Vogelsang) the queens, and him (Leonard) the jacks. You muddled the order up!"

Everyone at the table laughed, including the dealer herself.

Sontheimer Falls to Farrell

Niveau 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Niall Farrell raised to 30,000 from the hijack and was called by Manig Loeser in the cutoff. Action folded to Steffen Sontheimer, in the big blind, who three-bet to 135,000. Both Farrell and Loeser called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Sontheimer checked, Farrell bet 155,000, Loeser folded and Sontheimer called.

The turn brought them the {7-Spades}, Sontheimer checked once more. Farrell now bet 325,000, Sontheimer considered all his options and checked out Farrell's stack. In the end, he decided to shove. Farrell snap-called with a pretty similar stack.

Farrell had flopped a set of fours with the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} in his hand and was up against the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of Sontheimer. The {6-Clubs} on the river didn't change much as Sontheimer was drawing dead. And Sontheimer was next to be sent to the rail or cashier in case he wants to reenter.
