Farrell Clinches Chip Lead in Last Hand

Niveau 16 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Ben Farrell
Ben Farrell

Ben Farrell raised to 275,000 from the under-the-gun position and action folded to the other big stack on the table, Thomas Winstone, on the button. Winstone three-bet to 1,200,000. The blinds quickly folded and the action was back on Farrell. Farrell asked how much Winstone was playing and Winstone said it was just under 11 million. Farrell called.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Farrell check-called the 850,000 bet of Winstone.

They both checked through the {6-Hearts} on the turn to the {2-Hearts} on the river. Farrell bet 2,000,000 and Winstone called without any hesitation. Farrell tabled {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and Winstone flipped open {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, the pot was sent Farrell's way which took him into the chip lead for Day 1c.
