Hajivey Wins Flip; Simunic Missing

Niveau 15 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Josip Simunic
Josip Simunic

Ramin Hajiyev was all in for his last 770,000 and Adam Owen looked him up with the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Hajiyev had the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and got there on a board of {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs} to double. Owen grinded his stack back up after that and sits on 40 big blinds.

Josip Simunic is missing and Jack Salter confirmed that the Austrian had been eliminated by Sean Winter. Simunic check-raised a {A-}{K-}{5-} flop with a hearts flush draw and jammed a blank {X-Clubs} turn with ace-jack for top pair. Winter called with a flopped set of fives and left Simunic drawing dead.

The same table also features MILLIONS Germany finalist Yiannis Liperis with a reasonable stack.

Romanello and Simao Eliminated

Niveau 15 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Roberto Romanello
Roberto Romanello

Just before the break, partypoker ambassador Joao Simao and partypoker sponsored pro Roberto Romanello departed from the feature table, which has now caught up on the 30 minutes of delay. Romanello had been all in from under the gun Georgios Vrakas shoved in the small blind, Upeshka de Silva snap-called for 1.635 million from the big blindl

Roberto Romanello: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Georgios Vrakas: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Upeshka De Silva: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

The board of {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} left Romanello drawing dead on the turn and the meaningless set on the river was no good. He left the feature table with a smile and the words "I guess I am not going to win this one."

Astedt Busts Foxen After Setup Hand

Niveau 15 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Alex Foxen raised to 220,000 and Bas de Laat three-bet to 660,000. Niklas Astedt four-bet on the button to 1.275 million and Foxen, from under the gun, pushed all in. De Laat folded and Astedt snap-called.

Niklas Astedt: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Alex Foxen: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board of {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} brought no help and Foxen had some four big blinds left. One hand later he was all in from the big blind against Dan Cates from under the gun and Astedt. The Swede bet the {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} turn for 125,000, Cates check-called and the {4-Spades} river was checked. Cates announced queen-high, Foxen flipped over {Q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Astedt finished the job he had just started with the {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}.

Fares Busts Zapatero; Simunic Wins Three-Way All In

Niveau 14 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Josip Simunic
Josip Simunic

Hassan Fares dispatched Javier Gomez Zapatero when the Spaniard got it in with {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} on a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Fares snap-called with {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} and the {K-Hearts} turn locked up the elimination, making the {9-Clubs} river a formality.

Josip Simunic was involved in a three-way all in with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} against the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} of Michael Verhaaf and the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} of Sean Winter. The Austrian from partypoker's team online held up on the {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} board to eliminate Verhaaf and double through Winter for 1.285 million.
