"Rybo" Wins a Small One

Niveau 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On a board reading {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, the action was checked to Ryan "Rybo" Smith in middle position. He made a small bet of 500 into a pot of around 1,800. His opponent called from under the gun and {4-Clubs} fell on the river.

The action was checked to Smith again who announced a bet of 1,800. His opponent played with his chips for a minute before tossing in a call. Smith turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and that was good enough to earn him a small pot.

With around 2,400 in the middle, the dealer fanned a flop of {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Kelly Webb checked from the small blind and Vladimir Troyanovskiy fired out a bet of 1,200 from the big blind. Webb tossed in a call and the {5-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Webb checked again and Troyanovskiy continued for another 3,000. Webb made his move with a check-raise to 8,000 and Troyanovskiy stuck around to see the {3-Diamonds} on the river. Webb led out for 8,000 and Troyanovskiy splashed in a call. Webb turned over {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for trip fives and Troyanovskiy was left shaking his head as he flashed {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

Troyanovskiy was left with just a little over 1,000 chips and will likely be trying to spin it up or fire another bullet in a hurry.
