A few tables over Joseph Cheong, fresh off his victory in PokerStars Sunday Supersonic for $30,939, also busted from the tournament as well. Cheong had lost most of his stack before the first break and proceeded to get rid of the rest of it before the second.

Dan Shak opened with a raise to 800 from under the gun. Anatoly Zuev was on the button and he reraised, three-betting to 2,200. Shak called and the two headed to a flop.

Action folded around to the hijack seat where Faraz Jaka opened with a raise to 700. He was called by the player in the cutoff before Peter Tschernigg shoved all in for aright 2,375. Action folded back to Jaka who raised to 5,700. The cutoff player folded so Tschernigg and Jaka turned up their hands.

which gave Tschernigg a pair of tens on the river to go with the pair of nines on the board. That allowed him to double up through Jaka who dipped below the starting stack while Tschernigg's stack was boosted to over 6,000.
