The flop came down and Ateba checked. Maurer continued with a bet of 75,000. Aldemir folded. Ateba attempted to make a raise, but was a bit short, putting out only 128,000. He was allowed to complete to 150,000. Maurer, possibly sensing weakness, then quickly moved all in. Ateba shook his head, then folded allowing Maurer to build his stack a bit more.
From the cutoff, Florian Maurer shoved all in for 175,000. Koray Aldemir called on the button. Everyone else folded so it was off to a showdown.

The flop came down which was no help to Maurer, but the came on the turn giving him the lead. He held up through the on the river and that allowed him to double up, making him one of the first players to win a pot from Aldemir today.
Adrian Mateos raised to 45,000 from early position with the and Jonathan West called from the button with the . Both blinds folded and it was heads-up to the flop.
Mateos checked and West bet 50,000. Mateos paused for a few beats before check-raising all in, and that did the trick as West folded.
