Hands #54-59: Double for Kenney

Niveau 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 54: Daniel Negreanu opened {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} in the cutoff to 90,000. Justin Bonomo called from the button with {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Ivan Luca called from the small blind with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The big blind folded.

The flop came {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Luca checked. Negreanu bet 80,000 into 345,000 and Bonomo folded. Luca folded as well.

Hand 55: Cary Katz opened {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for 85,000 under the gun plus one. Sam Greenwood defended his big blind with {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and checked on {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}. Katz checked behind.

The {3-Spades} hit the turn and Greenwood and Katz both checked again. The {K-Diamonds} on the river saw a check by Greenwood and a bet of 85,000 by Katz. Greenwood folded right away.

Hand 56: Isaac Haxton on the button with {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} shoved for 1,725,000. The shorter players in the blinds both folded right away.

Hand 57: Isaac Haxton opened the cutoff for 80,000 with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Sam Greenwood folded {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds} on the button but small blind Bryn Kenney wasn't doing the same. He woke up with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and moved in for 710,000. Haxton called right away as soon as Katz folded his big blind.

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Kenney rivered the ace to stay alive. Kenney up to 1,500,000, Haxton down to 1,110,000.

Hand 58: Bonomo opened {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} under the gun for 80,000. Cary Katz called {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} in the small blind, Negreanu over called from the big blind with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and Katz and Negreanu checked. Bonomo bet 90,000 and took it down as both blinds folded.

Hand 59: In the last hand of the night, Daniel Negreanu limped in from the small blind with {K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Big blind Justin Bonomo checked {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Negreanu bet 40,000 into 115,000. Bonomo called instantly with his flush draw.

The {3-Diamonds} on the turn improved Bonomo but Negreanu was still ahead with his pair of fours. He checked and Bonomo checked behind.

The river {2-Spades} was a blank and Negreanu checked. Bonomo checked behind and let the pot to Negreanu.

Hands 48-53: Calling with King High

Niveau 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 48: Daniel Negreanu raised to 90,000 from the hijack with the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Ike Haxton called from the small blind with the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Sam Greenwood came along from the big with the {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and three players took a flop of {k-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

All three players checked, the dealer burned and turned the {7-Diamonds}, and again everyone checked. The {8-Hearts} river gave Negreanu two pair, and he bet 225,000 after it checked to him. Both his opponents folded.

Hand 49: Cary Katz raised to 90,000 under the gun with the {6-Spades}{4-Spades} and Justin Bonomo looked down at the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} in the hijack. He put in a three-bet, Katz called, and the flop came down {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Katz bet what looked like 225,000, Bonomo called, and the dealer burned and turned the {6-Clubs}. Both players checked, the {A-Clubs} completed the board on the river, and again both players checked. With that, Bonomo took down a 1.065 million pot.

Hand 50: Haxton raised to 80,000 with the {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} in the cutoff and won the blinds and antes.

Hand 51: Bryn Kenney raised to 90,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} on the button and Negreanu defended his big blind with the {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. The {k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop was big for Kenney, and he checked behind after Negreanu did. The {3-Hearts} turn also went check-check, as did the {Q-Clubs} river.

Hand 52: Katz raised to 80,000 from the button with the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Negreanu three-bet to 320,000 with the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} in the small blind. Katz folded.

Hand 53: Bonomo limped the small blind with the {10-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Luca checked his option in the big with the {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. The {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop saw Bonomo bet 40,000, Luca called, and the {4-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Both players checked and the {3-Diamonds} completed the board on the river. Bonomo bet 50,000 and Luca paid him off with king high.

Hands #46-47: Haxton Makes a Tough Call, Doubles

Niveau 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand 46: Cary Katz opened the cutoff with {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} making it 85,000. Ivan Luca called from the big blind with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

The flop came {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Luca checked. Katz bet 75,000 into 225,000 and Luca called.

The {K-Diamonds} on the turn paired the board and Luca checked once again. This time, Katz bet 200,000 into 375,000 and Luca folded. Katz showed his cards.

Hand 47: Ivan Luca in the small blind limped in with {K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Big blind Isaac Haxton checked {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Luca and Haxton both checked. The {3-Clubs} on the turn saw Luca check again. Haxton bet 60,000 and Luca check-raised to 265,000. Haxton called with the pair and open-ended.

The {Q-Clubs} on the river completed the board. With now four clubs on the table, Luca glanced over to Haxton's stack. Haxton had 590,000 behind and there was 645,000 in the pot.

Luca shoved by placing 700,000 in the middle.

Haxton used two time bank cards to gain a minute extra to think about it. He eventually called, doubling doing so.

Hands #40-45: Erik Seidel Bubbles 2018 PCA Super High Roller

Niveau 17 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Erik Seidel - Bubble Boy
Erik Seidel - Bubble Boy

Hand 40: In the first hand back from the break, Bryn Kenney moved all in under the gun for 710,000 with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and he took down the blinds and antes.

Hand 41: Justin Bonomo raised to 80,000 holding the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} in the hijack and Ivan Luca called with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} in the cutoff. The {9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop saw Bonomo check and Luca bet 135,000. Bonomo called and then both players checked the {6-Clubs} turn. When the {7-Hearts} paired the board on the river, Bonomo bet 350,000 and Luca called to win the pot.

Hand 42: Daniel Negreanu raised to 80,000 with the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} in early position and Luca three-bet to 215,000 with the {9-Spades}{6-Spades} in the hijack. Action folded back to Negreanu and he let it go.

Hand 43: Luca raised to 80,000 with the {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} UTG+2 and he stole the blinds and antes.

Hand 44: Luca raised to 90,000 with the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Negreanu defended the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Negreanu then checked the {k-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and called when Luca bet 70,000. The {A-Clubs} turn was gin for Negreanu, and he checked to Luca, who checked behind. On the {6-Diamonds} river, Negreanu bet 75,000 and Luca folded.

Hand 45: Erik Seidel moved all in for 540,000 from the cutoff with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Cary Katz called from the button with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}.

Seidel needed some major help to avoid becoming the bubble boy, but that didn't happen as the board ran out a dry {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.
