Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Down to just 150,000, Patrick Tardif was all in and at risk against Joep Raemaekers, the camera crews rushed by and the online grinder was in a joking mood.

"They will all say, uhh where did his chips go, he had so much."

Patrick Tardif: {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Joep Raemaekers: {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board came {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Tardif scored a double to remain in contention.

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, action was heavy as Luke Marsh bet 35,000, Scott Stewart check-raised to 130,000 in the small blind and Blair Hinkle jammed in the big covering everyone. Marsh called off for 475,000 and Stewart used a time bank before mucking.

Luke Marsh: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Blair Hinkle: {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Hinkle missed his flush as it came {a-Spades}, {5-Diamonds}.

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Benjamin Spragg
Benjamin Spragg

Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg might be wearing the PokerStars Team Pro Online patch, but don't make the mistake of thinking he's feeling right at home in a tournament with a buy-in of $25,000.

Part of Team Online because of his popular Twitch stream, Spragg plays an average buy-in of $30 online. So to all of a sudden take a seat in a $25,000 High Roller was quite the change of pace for the amicable Brit.

He made it into the money in his biggest buy-in ever, eventually exiting in 140th place for $35,000. We talked to the Amicable Brit right after he busted. Read the interview on the PokerNews front page.

Marquez on a Nub

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jason Koonce put in all 570,000 of his chips in the cutoff and Ana Marquez set him at risk from the button with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. She was way ahead against {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} but the {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop changed that in a big way. The {k-Diamonds} turn and {5-Clubs} river failed to rescue Marquez and she sent her neighbor nearly all of her chips.

Only moments later, Marquez was eliminated.

Daniel Wilson: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Scott Stewart: {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Olivieri Withstands a Sweaty Flop

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Samuel Tsehai opened to 45,000 in early position and the action folded to Felipe Olivieri in the big blind. Olivieri shoved all in for 220,000 and Tsehai asked for a count before making the call.

Felipe Olivieri: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Samuel Tsehai: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} to give Olivieri top pair but Tsehai flopped an open-ended straight flush draw. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn was a brick and the {j-Diamonds} on the river paired the board to give Olivieri a full double up.

Vogelsang Takes From Marquez

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ana Marquez defended her big blind against the under-the-gun raise by Christoph Vogelsang and they headed to a flop of {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Marquez check-raised from 30,000 to 105,000 and Vogelsang came along. Both players opted to check the {9-Hearts} turn and Marquez also checked the {9-Spades} on the river.

Vogelsang bet 110,000 and Marquez sent her cards into the muck.

Baumstein Eliminates Kerber

Niveau 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Kelvin Kerber opened in the cutoff for 40,000, Scott Baumstein made it 110,000 on the button and Kerber put in 540,000, leaving 15,000 back. Baumstein thought briefly and then stuck it all in. Kerber said he was going to take some time to give himself a chance to ladder, and he used a couple of banks before calling.

Kelvin Kerber: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Scott Baumstein: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Spades} did little for Kerber but the {j-Spades} turn gave him a straight draw. The {2-Hearts} was a brick, but he did ladder successfully.
