Plante Gets Paid by Seiji

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up to the {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} river with some 5,500 in the middle, Santiago Plante overbet for 7,800. Rodrigo Seiji was his only opponent and quickly called to get shown the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for aces and nines by Plante. That won the pot as Seiji took a major blow to his stack.

Fedor Holz

Fedor Holz raised to 1,000 from the hijack and was called by Andrew Moreno and Philip Shing in the blinds.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and action was checked through to the {10-Diamonds} turn. Moreno led for 2,200 and Holz was the only caller.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Moreno bet 1,500. Holz thought for a bit before calling. Moreno showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for tens and fours while Holz showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for jacks and fours to take down the pot before break.

Proudfoot and Coleman Continue to Battle

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Romain Lewis opened to 1,000 from early position and was called by David Coleman and Jonathan Proudfoot from the blinds.

Coleman and Proudfoot had recently chopped a pot where the former was the shorter stack. Coleman had added to his stack since then, at what seemed to be at Proudfoot's expense as his stack had reduced in size.

On the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Coleman checked before Proudfoot led out for 800. Lewis quickly folded but Coleman called to continue their blossoming rivalry.

Coleman check-called for 1,700 on the {7-Clubs} turn and did the same for 4,200 on the {4-Diamonds} river.

Proudfoot could only show ten-high with his {10-}{9-}. Coleman tabled his {k-Spades}{8-Spades} and claimed the pot with eights and sevens.

Cornell Wins Small Showdown Pot

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Table big stack Pedro Garagnani bet the heads-up turn of {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and was called by Tyler Cornell from the next seat. Both checked the {5-Hearts} on the river and Cornell revealed the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for jacks and fives, which happened to be the winning hand.

Despite losing this pot, Garagnani has one of the largest stacks in the room with three times of what he started with.

Sitbon Wins A Pot; Loses a Pot

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Johan Guilbert raised to 1,000 and was called by Kannapong Thanarattrakul. Julien Sitbon three-bet to 3,100 in the cutoff and Guilbert reluctantly folded after nearly three minutes while Thanarattrakul called instantly. On the {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Thanarattrakul check-called a bet worth 2,100 and then checked the {2-Spades} turn with a short stack behind.

Sitbon bet 7,000, exactly as many chips as Thanarattrakul had behind, and the Thai folded.

In the next hand, Chris Oliver opened and called a three-bet to 2,200 by Sitbon. Heading to the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, Oliver check-jammed into a bet worth 2,100 and Sitbon let go.

Coleman Calls for Tournament Life

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

There was 17,600 in the pot on the {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts} board in a hand between David Coleman and Jonathan Proudfoot.

Coleman checked for the small blind before Proudfoot put in a small bet of 1,600. Coleman called.

On the {2-Clubs} river, Proudfoot put Coleman all-in for his tournament life. Coleman called off his last 15,000 and the players tabled their hands.

Proudfoot had the {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} while Coleman had the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} which meant the pot was shared.
